Just some of what I've learned from my master, Mrs. Rau this month:Writing Tip #1: Write in your neatest paw-writing! You never know when you'll receive a treat for your efforts!
Writing Tip #2: Always make sure the apostrophe is placed where the letters are missing in a contraction. It's kind of like leaving drool behind, before you steal the bone!
Writing Tip #3: Use a semi-colon (;) when you want to join two sentences (independent clauses). They take the place of conjunctions, too. Just don't let the cat see you do it.
Writing Tip #4: Separate adjectives with commas. I am a cute, fluffy, lovable golden retriever, and even I know this!
Writing Tip #5: Compound sentences need to be joined with a conjunction, but also need a comma to separate them. It's a lot like putting a fence between my pal, Gravy, and I. You gotta have it!
Writing Tip #6: If you have the word "if" in a sentence, you'll probably need an "if" comma. If you don't have one, you're like a dog without a bone.
Hugs and licks, Dogzilla
